i had this problem actually, i found pulling the passenger airbag side off first makes it work and come out easy. if you pull the drivers side first, it gets stuck on something!

that's correct yes! there is a good video on-line showing how to do it. i would say unless your fairly confident with a soldering iron, don't attempt it tho.

yer i would check it out, sounds like you need a new mechanism for it tho. i could be wrong. if you take that torq bolt out and get the lid up, you shud be able to get into it all and figure it out, might be lucky u never know

just had a look for you, there is a torque bolt in the back there that holds the latch in place. perhaps if you can undo that you can get the boot lid open.....

if its just the plastic clip that is broken, you can get them on ebay. thats whats happened to mine, but i cheap skated it and just stuck bluetack in. it still working now lmao. good deal if the regulator is dead tho!
