Don't use Tripple on the windscreen. You want a polish that doesn't leave anything behind, if you're going to seal it with G1/G5. The G4 will do this, or go to Halfrauds and buy AutoGlym glass polish as it's just fine.
IronX works faster than Iron Out by most DW tests. IronX also picks out more contaminant after a hit of Iron Out, so suggest sticking with the number 1.
C4 needs a very clean base and is "expensive". I'd suggest you give the trim a decent clean and then use AF Revive.
Glass you need to clean...
Much like "brand new" cars, Tim, there may still be iron contaminant and I can comfortably say there'll be some sort of bonded contaminant on there from the manufacturing process. Better safe than sorry, but it is of course down to your opinion and time constraints. If it were me and I was going...
Not getting at you, Ry. I'm saying I have Halfords two seconds away so would have popped in for some wire wool. Just couldn't leave them like that with the rest of the car looking as good as it does!
It's a semi permanent crystal coating, a lot like a lacquer, so it's something you do if you're happy to have them looking new for a while. It doesn't take long to do, but the cost of it might put you off. If not, don't let the "semi-permanent" bit put you off, as when you come to colour code...
I agree fella, although have gone through a decent amount of products over the last couple of weeks, purely to use them up... that does sound like a waste, but I have reviewed them all, for provider, you lot and my own personal interest reasons;
AF Verso
AF Satin
AF Imperial
Swissvax Interior...
It did. Yellow Dave if that's the reason you were after it from Matthew, I'll send it out or bring it when I come to the Unit (probs best to go with the former, with the proximity to Xmas). PM me pal.
