did mine friday night. old discs come off and new discs fitted perfect so did the pads. found out my old discs and pads went fine and had been replaced recently but they must of used the old bearings. got some spare discs and pads now anyways.

Rang for a price on some rear discs oe with bearings and abs rings from renault stoke today and they came back with a price of £75 including vatand £21 including vat for the pads cracking price me thinks. the joys of being in the trade.lol:rasp:

when my waterpump went it sounded like it was a grinding noise and like it was coming from the cam area all across the cam box but when i replaced the dephaser,belts kits and waterpump the noise went away.

sounds like its leaking from the oil filter.

lol at pumperpump. had it in at a place called sherwins auto specialists in fenton stoke on trent.

my old gti did it when i put the de cat on.

dephaser, pumperpump or belt pulleys i just had mine done for £575 for dephaser,waterpump,kit and aux belt kits fitted.

done all this myself, done all grilles, rear wiper and trim, rear bumper trim, scuttle and badges all in gloss

just rubbing it all down with a grey scotch pad and a quick coat of plastic promoter before painting;)

done mine graphite grey (gloss laquer)

little staples. little screwdriver and pair of side cutters of pliers will do the job;)

It wants rubbing down first with a red scotch pad then either wants about 3 to 4 coats of silver paint on or do it in a white or light grey primer first then flatting down with 1500 or 2000 grit paper before painting in silver.
