Does this mean that they won't work...or can l have the computer altered to sort this?
Or do l just waggle the connectors about and spray a little WD 40 on them?
I have just taken my passenger seat out of my 182 Cup and fitted a 182 FF seat in its place. Please help with the following...
1. The service light has now come on. Why? How do l reset it?
2.I have fitted the seatbelt holder (c/w pre-tensioner) from my original seats.I have done a reversal...
If you want it then okay.It is worn where it is gripped (common fault) but okay otherwise.PM me an offer if you like...l have the seats as well.Could do a deal for the lot if you wanted?
I've had a 172 Cup and now a 182 Cup.The seats are crap (got new 182 FF seats) and so is the steering wheel (got a 182 FF one on its way).
But the 182 Cup IS the better car if you're not planning on track days.It has ABS,ESP,TC and aircon.
As for all this weight stuff both are light...
Looks good...good starting point. :)
Don't waste any money on suspension etc just get a nice set of alloys and give it a good polish.Save your money as you'll never get it back on mods.
Just picked these seats up from Kevin tonight....absolutely mint :)
They are like new ... cheers Kevin :)
They both have airbags so can these be plugged into the 182 Cup anywhere so that they work? If not are there any issues with them not being plugged in?
Cheers
Pour some hot water onto a clean rag and hold it against the sticker for a few seconds.Just repeat this until its off.If theres any glue left use a little T-Cut or polish.
I think l'm sticking with my 182 Cup after pricing up an Evo and an STi...too much to run at the mo for me :(
Went to see a couple today and whilst driving my Cup was screaming 'Why sell me?!'
So...l have a 182 Cup with 20k on the clock and it runs perfectly.I'm not looking to change...
I hate my 182 Cup steering wheel ! Its too big and after only 20k its going a bit 'funny' where l grip it !
What options do l have to improve it (some sort of covering?) or a new wheel which has connections for all the switches?
Theres very little in them to be honest.I haven't driven a Trophy (but have respect for it) but l have owned a 172 Cup and now a 182 Cup and despite all the talk about the 172 Cup being rawer/faster/harder etc theres very little in it (ABS/ESP/AC are 'good' ideas in a car and as l'm no Richard...
