Hi, my girlfriend had a brand new Dell Inspiron N5040 for christmas, she has just tryed to put a cd in, and the disk is spinning up, but thats as far as its getting. it doesnt seem to be reading it and the laptop doesn't seem to regognise that it is doing anything, Any suggestions?

If your going to get it mapped, you just as well get it all done before hand. if it were me i think i would go, matched inlets, 182 manifold, decat + exhaust, better induction setup, then map. (if you dont intend on spending big money on cams/itbs etc.)

i actually like that, bar that god awful bonnet bra. ditch the bra and that would look spot on IMO.

If i were looking to rent some space in a barn cash in hand, i'de be starting with offering around £100 a month tbh, if they dont take it, offer more. For £600 a month you could get a small unit with electric and facilities!

Fair play to you for trying something different! BUT i'm a big believer in why fix what isn't broken, there are a lot easier ways of curing the problem you were having without having to go into modifying the subframe etc, as many have said just look at the burpspeed car, it has only very basic...

I think you may be right, he posted a photo of a trial fit of the engine on facebook earlier saying he had done something a bit silly and now needs a new sump haha
