The main reason is not to actually make it more environmentally friendly. Its more from a sponsor point of view. You only see the cars going round the track on TV, none of the other stuff, so sponsors/investors should be more attracted as they will be 'seen' to be supporting a greener sport on TV

Sash I had two front ones replaced, across the axle. All four tyres are same contintentals.
Removing the airbag is now technically a failure (unless the car is stripped and deemed a track car). As I found out. Despite having resistors so light worked as it should.
However a lot of people's have also gone through absolutely fine. Its a lottery I think as to whether they pick up on it.
I'm guessing it happens at all speeds, but is only noticeable at faster speed?
Trouble is it did it before I had the new tyres/alignment done, so I assumed it was that. But doesn't seem to have changed.
Unless alignment/wheel balancing was done poorly?
How can you check for play in the track...
What do you mean through it? Above 70mph, faster I go, worse it gets.
I had all the tracking/alignment done when i had new tyres fitted, which was after I replaced the TRE's
My steering wheel shakes horribly at 70mph + . Literally to the point its shaking my hands. Below that speed its fine.
Both track rod ends have been replaced, and doesn't appear to be any movement in the ball joints or wheel bearings.

Am I right in thinking the metal case bit that covers the connectors on top of the ECU just pulls off?

Well, I sourced a replacement throttle body, and surprise surprise, it still doesn't work.
So I've checked:
Replaced accelerator pedal.
Replaced Throttle body.
Checked loom for any visible wiring damage.
None of which have worked. It's driving me insane.
Thing is its intermittent. Sometimes...
The 70mm ITG Maxogen filter is the one that comes in the Ktec Kit I think.
That should just go straight into your silicone elbow.
