    This. Place near me wanted 15 quid a wheel to fit tyres I'd bought off camskill. That's an extra 60 quid on top, meaning I lost money than if I'd just gone through blackcircles, kwikfit etc.

    Mine would crank over for ever. Never quite start, and it was the battery. Slightly different symptoms, but easiest to eliminate as a possible cause!

    You can always just bend the contacts apart so it never comes on. I did that for when I'm using harnesses instead of standard belt

    Sensor in clip bit. It's two bits of metal that are pushed apart to break the circuit when the buckle is inserted. Easy to see when you undo the little torx

    How have you connected your mid-range components?

    Just buy a iso extension harness and cut that if you don't want to cut loom. I managed to thread new wires through the door .

    Yozza with a cat in is fine. Mine decatted got a bit annoying on motorway. Overtaking became laborious, thanks to the increase in decibels. This is the old one I'm talking about
