You can clean it with a strong TFR, degreaser, Tardis, iron x and then snow foam it til the cows come home. It'll be fairly clean, I'm sure, but will have no protection and thus leave the paint work open to the elements, undoing all of the previous cleaning and wasting money.

As above re polish with cut versus just a cleaner, but would go for the smaller of the two polishing discs. It requires air of time and effort, John. Budget a good 6 hours for front and rear glass. Keep checking your temperatures as well.

Fk1000p looks better, is easier to apply/remove and is cheaper by memory (for the oz). Oh and it's heat and fairly chemical resistant so useful on metal and wheels. Why anyone uses 476 anymore is beyond me!
