Football Manager is like crack - for the past few years I've been just using the iPhone app. Now though, I'm back.
Been addicted since I bought it, am Oldham and am currently on a 10 match unbeaten run.
I had a save on the iPhone going up to 2055, but lost it when I upgraded to iOS5. I was...
Well yeah.
This is from the photo gallery within the camera app - not lockscreen. And I haven't got a passcode on my iPhone. Living on the edge is what I do.
odd.
Bookmark syncing is fooking impressive. Add/remove/rename one on your mac and the same occurs on your iPhone instantly. Same applies for Reading List.
Could be pretty useful that..
Rob, just untick what you don't want synced you egg. You're stressing over genius.
And Newsstand wouldn't work in a folder, it's practically a folder already - folder in a folder is a no(lder). You should be able to delete it though.
Calm.
Is there nothing under 'apps' in iTunes on the computer he synced with?
You can redownload all previously bought/downloaded apps for free on the app store; but you have to obviously know what you're looking for. Shame theres no specific 'purchased' bit like for music. I don't think..
It doesn't mean theres a twitter app built in - just that it's now integrated within the apple apps (maps/photos..etc..) so you now have an option to tweet whatever's on screen.
Go to Settings > Twitter to set it up.
Done. Didn't back up my apps - but niftily you can now redownload apps from the app store for free (I thought it was only music this applied to) so two minutes later and everything was back to as it was before. Minus Football Manager 2010 as its not there anymore :(
iCloud is slick as hell...
My iPhone 4 has only been connected to my mac when I first got it. I never bother syncing it.
So, am I right in thinking when I sync it to install iOS 5.0 I'll then have all my settings and apps etc from before, when I enter my apple ID or summink? A la the new 'no computer needed' part of iOS...
In that case cable ties and some stiff garden hose are your friend.
(cable tie a bit of hose in each corner of the square hanger where the crappy rubber is/was, then another bit in the middle for the exhaust bracket to slide into. Magic)
I've got the same, and my phone still looks brand new since getting it in May. Not even a scratch on it, and I'm on it all the time.
I recommend the f**k out of it.
I assume it is, but is the 4S EXACTLY the same size and shape of the 4 then, just different hardware inside?
Siri looks interesting; is that a definite 4S thing then? Everyone else will still have the bog standard 'Voice Control'?
The Keynote wasn't the same without Steve. Tim bored me. I had to get dressed.
You care.
