crash`s a bit , slow , cant do quick scans to sort adware out
and has some annoying web thing that checks all links from google to see if there safe , which can go slow. u can disable it then it shows a diff icon on systray
hate it tbh , bring back old one
yer u usually get a set period of free updaes then after that a subscription for another year etc, can be sourced off web though
and it aint a rip off really.
ours was recently dropping like first time u went to go on a page it would fail but 2 secs after would be fine, it seems to have settledown this week , but still issues with speeds
there really are too many variables to get a exact figure without acutally monitoring the system, every thing from how often its in stanby hds off ect cpu in idle etc. as well as attached devices on usb.
why not do one month without , then next month leave it on and see how much power extra...
well i`ve always had at least 1 pc left on since about 1996,

im inpatient n cant be arsed to wait for it to load, switching monitor on is soo much quicker

wireless is good ok yer obviosly going to get some conflicts drop outs ect. but generally if its set up right, and u dont skimp on routers n network cards yer guna be fine.
