No mate they are compomotive wheels with a push in alloy center. Just a interferance fitting part so just want to use something to hold them in.
Any thorghts, might just try some silicone sealer that you use on bathroom joints.
What would be the best stuff to stop my center caps coming out. Lost one after a motorway drive and had to order some new from compomotive.
Now that I have the new ones to fit just wanted some adhesive to hold them in ( e.g. silocone sealent)
Any ideas?
I had just driven 400 miles from durham a few days ago so the car was looking a wee bit grubby. That silver mark 1 hardly ever moves form the side of the road, only seen it driving once.
I have silver seatbelts in my clio and to be honest they a scabby to say the least.
Will hot water and some persil do the job or might it damage the belt scrubbing it? :S
I see it mate. May just be renault trying to get v6 owners wallets out and making them pay for the scuttle instead of just the clip. Will use the normal clio to double check in the future. Cheers mate.
You were right as well. Did not see your post until speaking to brun.
If you could help with the last bit (fir tree type push in clip) that would finish off everything.
CB1U is the code for v6 255
I have orderd the bits you said mate, will have a look when they come to see if they are the ones I want, I am confident though. Really helped me out this morning, saved me alot of time, top bloke.
And cheers to others that offerd advise. That is what is really useful about the forum....... :)
^^^^^^^Yes my second part i need and the one mark989 needs is the one above. had to crack the screw head bolt thing out. A new one would look like that one
Cheers for the help mate. And mark, thanks alot. It is a rite pain going to a dealership to get things, most have not got a clue.
Hopefully just the small clips to hold my the v6 gear trim in the cabin left to find.
:D
Here is some pics of the bits I need, just saves any confusion.
Few extra bits here hutchie (anyone else aswell) if you could sort me out with the part numbers and confirm the first number given.
This clip
Fits here in the wing
The tray slides onto it
between these
Then I...
I need that one your on about but I think I have the number for that. The one I need is behind the hinge and the plastic tray slides down onto it. Maybe a V6 thing.
Was taking the plastic covers off that are under the front windscreen to get to the pollen filter. Snaped the plastic clip that goes into the the back of the wing and then on the edge of the covers (under the windscreen).
If you have any adea what the hell im talking about do you no the part...
