Don't buy any cheapo copies off ebay or the like as they are about as good as a bost genuine one.
Have you bridged pins 1 and 5 to check it definatly is the resistor at fault.
As above they are fobbing you off, one they can't shift theose sort of items quick.
They also won't sell the covers off the mirrors as it makes the rest of the unit worthless.
Also won't sell part of the seat belt mechanism as they can make more from a complete set, also has the car been in...
So these catch tanks are fitted: breather plate > hose> catch tank >small filter on catch tank?
Or does it go: breather plate > hose> catch tank > back to inlet hose?
is there no vacum needed? or does the crankcase gasses get pushed out on their own accord into the tank?

Any decent make/brand will do and hasn't got to be the best stuff millers fully synthetic 75-80w gl5 gear oil is only £30 for 5 litres at opie oils.
