just off eBay mate measure what size you need and just search away! it was only £10 I think but does the job, better than the old one that had holes in it anyway
car went in for it's MOT, advisory on a weld on my exhaust and my tracking was done! so took her for a soon to the lakes with my friend and his s3! great drive out had a good blast around!
callipers went red last week, still going to give then another coat but I go to America Sunday so it's not on the top of my priority list!
time to get saving for my brembo front callipers, also I have decided I want to run 438 cams, get a matched inlet and a remap ready for next year!
as title says, has anyone had new cams fitted and cambelt done by an garage in the north west? looking to have mine done!
any help will be appreciated! I have emailed birchdown awaiting a reply
cheers, chris
I will have to check if I have RS stamped inlets, but I'm willing on buying a new set anyway to neaten up my engine bay make it look nice and new :) £168 off jam sport doesn't seem too steep for then possible gains in my eyes?
indeed mad money! seems worth it tho if you do have the money! i luckily hit 50k the other day so have plenty more miles left! :)
but seeing as I'm 22, insurance is already a killer I think I will stick with my initial thoughts of matched inlets in the next month or two, then cams and a remap...
yeah I'm planning these mods and then just concentrate on some bigger brakes, ARB, solid top mounts etc!
but yeah mate that's what dreams are made of, TURBO hahaha, far to much money for me unfortunately :( in the near future anyway....
just been reading about 438 cams actually! these mods seems to be the ones to do to actually gain bhp, before you go spending big money on ITBs or turbo!
I am hoping on matched inlets sometime this year and then cams and a remap would be next year
winter is coming so I'm going to be working lots and saving lots trying to get some money behind me and get a few mods done ready for next summer!
my question is, will matched inlets with cams and a remap be noticeable?
I'm currently running a scorpion exhaust system and a pipercross viper...
exactly what I was looking for, some positive feedback! sounds great man and sounds right about the 197 cylinder too but as you say you might get use to it! look forward to finding out in a couple of weeks so hope you don't mind if I drop you a message seeing how they are getting on!?
no time soon will the brakes be done, just probably start of next summer I'm thinking upgrade the braking power before upgrading engine power!
thanks I appreciate the feedback :)
just my luck that I have her a clean and then it started spitting!
