The manual for my car states to only turn the auto wipers on if it's raining. Which begs the question, why even bother with them in the first place? I hated my last ones and I hate these as well. I'd love a proper variable intermittent wipe.

It's normal. Prevents the wipers wiping if say the windscreen is frozen. Saves the blades being ripped off.

Don't, unless you have projector lenses. That's my opinion.

As said, in the accessibility section there is an option to have the camera led flash as an alert. Probably useless as the phone will be camera side down most of the time.

I've just learnt about the flashing led notification and custom vibrations.
