By the time the light illuminates the hole, you see it, process it and react to it, you'll have hit the hole and be 50ft down the road. They're a waste of time. Nothing more than something to show you don't own an entry level model. That's my view anyway.

Surely the real reason is that it would be almost stepping on the toes of the Focus ST. Why should Ford care that the car might not be able to handle and extra 30bhp in standard form, after a remap? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just can't understand the reasoning behind that.
