It would be more helpful if people posted what they averaged over a whole tank, and not a 30 minute run down a motorway resulting in some wild mpg figure. It's a bloody useless figure. My trip computer says I got 65mpg on the way to work this morning, but that's a far cry from what the car...
There are plenty cheaper alternatives to the PE2's that are just as good. Have a look in the tyres section here and see what people are using. I can't help with anything else unfortunately.
Re: Mac "must have" Apps
I downloaded remote mouse, not really expecting much...But yeah its actually really good. I have found it better to use it on the iPad (as Im doing now). Its much smoother I found.
Ok guys bear with me here. Got a few pics but I'm doing this on my phone so not sure if it's all going to work. None of the scratches in the pic are deep enough to catch my nail in.
That's on the bonnet of his car. The car is only a couple of months old so don't really want him using...
His car is a Toyota, mine is VAG.
In response to the "invest in your own machine polisher". I have thought about it. However, having read previously about VAG paint being really hard, I figured it might not be worth it for a novice like myself. Also, I'm scared to do it lol :o
I'll get a photo up tomorrow. Thanks for the info so far though.
He's only asking me as he wan't me to go halves on the stuff, lol. But my paint is in such a state that the whole thing needs machine polished. I really don't see the point in me sorting one or two scuffs and have the rest...
Evening all. First off, I have no idea about detailing etc, so bear with me.
So my dad has a wee scuff on his car and has been doing a bit of research, and has come to me asking about this: http://www.g3pro.com/ . Now having read quite a few threads in this section, I'm quite sceptical...
We have Panasonics at home. Had them for years (like 8+) as well and still going strong. Still on the original batteries as well! Might be worth looking at some or their stuff.
Are you not better off just buying a Mac mini and streaming/playing videos from iTunes that way? Then you can also use it as a media centre as well. Or is that not possible?
To be fair, it's not that daft a question. I get Friends and Family discount, but I don't know anyone who works for O2, or any other carrier. I get it through my work (which has nothing to do with mobile phones or mobile carriers either)
