My 172 was an import. Renault may pay towards the cost of the CAT. They didn't when my steering wheel bearing collapsed.

poped down to the dealer earlier AND they searched and can't be brought as there not listed in their data base. Looks like I'll have to sort out a made up set.

In a Clio all you need is an AMP, a set of comp in the front 5", and a sub in the boot. Then disconect the rears. Please don't use 6 x 9 they aren't very welcome on here. LOL

And I was only saying that, there is no manual. What you said about the brakes is more clear now, to someone whos not got any idea for changing pads. Wasn't saying that at you only letting someelse know.

You can't get a Haynes Manual for a 172 or 182. Theres a guide available on the forum.

Change the pads yourself do a search for the guide.

Mines got 46k, FRSH, T & T, EX demo. And I got 6k for it as Part Ex on a 197 CUP. With out the dealer looking at it.

K-tec in Dorset or Ren-tec in Portsmouth. There may be closer ones, but they come highly recommend on Here.

Not got am idea how you remove th dash on a mk3 (yet) Yes the whole dash was the only way to do it on my 182 and 172mk1. Don't think there's a guide? Mine only took 20mins to remove. There's a guide for the 182 pn here :- http://www.fubarnet.com/

This plugs into the radio display behind the dash. The only way is to remove the dash and then plug the lead into the socket. You should have instruction on this when your brought the Connect 2?

the passenger side, open door and its near the dash. same fuse as fag lighter. IIRC

Kirsty's white wheels were taken off her R27, she then sold the CUP wheels

Insure the car as a CUP 182. And telll them that its not modifyied as they come from the factory like this.
