No luck involved, it's on MSDN.. (Vista RTM)
Either way, looks like XP to me with some sort of skin/theme/style.. things are called "My Computer", "My Documents" - they dropped the "My" bit in Vista ;)
Which is why Apple introduced their Apple Extreme 802.11n router, on the launch of the new Apple TV. :)
It's draft spec (802.11n), but that means very little.
Should be enough for HD content!
What about everyone who just downloaded a Debian CD, or an Ubuntu CD etc.. and installed it on their server? How do people know about those?

As I've said before, for company networks (servers, clients, etc.) you can't beat a Windows...
If you have any sort of usage policy on that laptop, You need to just contact your IT department and explain it.. Heh.
They'll have to rejoin it to the domain.
Stream a movie to it. ;)
Also, the Apple TV just connects to your lappy.. so you get "front row" on the TV.. you could leave the Mac upstairs just on.. or, sync your favourites albums to the Apple TV and play them - think of it as a static iPod with movie support :p
Express is very good.. and...
Because that would involve me having my macbook near the TV - what if I want to watch TV and use my Mac? :p
Mac Mini is minimum £400, and it's not got HDMI, Component, Inbuilt power, customised front row for streaming, syncing from iTunes etc... Apple TV is £199 all in, done. Plug in and go...
My first purchases will be the Apple TV and new Airport Extreme.. then I'll look at the phone when it's in the UK at the end of the year!
Main use will be to have music through my TV in the lounge.. as my MBP speakers are SHOCKING :)
