some 182's have got a shed load of washers under the exhaust mounts and some haven't got any. take them all out and just put one back in per bolt. it helps pull the exhaust up a few mm.;)

don't use exhaust paste it just goes hard and cracks load of crap, use decent clamps and high temp/exhaust silicone;)

i had exactly the same problem squirting out the front when operating the rear, also had the same problem with the windows and total closure. don't want to worry you but soon after the rear wiper failed and i couldn't open the boot either had pull the rear seat down and open it from the inside...

i never said by hand i used one othese when mine got stuck if that don't work it has to be heated up which is a last resort!!

if they had failed you will be able to get the drum off a lot easier than when they are jammed theres ways to do everything no such thing as can't. lol:rasp:
