Does seem a good deal and rated well from what I've read.
I've had CP and RDS and although they helped a bit can see Snowfoam being more suited to me for quick refresh washes through the summer.

Can't help on waxes as my knowledge is slim but samples seem your best bet... I'm getting a small collection of them.
If you are quite inexperienced in car cleaning I'd prob go with something like the AF Sample Pack.... Few nice products and will give you an idea if you want to take your budding habit any further.

C2v3 is the sealant, As a top up you can always dilute some C2 and use it as a QD to aid drying and top up the protection a little bit.
Were the tyres thoroughly cleaned and dry? To be fair I don't usually get much longer than that out of my application but I tend to apply weekly anyway...
