Spotted a RB 182 and a Arctic Blue 182 on the M4 earlier around 4:30; anyone on here? I was in the Trophy covered in birdshit after it was attacked by fecking seagulls in the car park at work
Rhod.
Thought it might have been; I met the owner in Neath Tesco a few weeks back - she's a woman about 50 years old and a right Granny racer!
I work in Bridgend so I'm up and down the M4/A48 everyday, see loads of 172s/182s but don't think any are members on here. Also seen a lovely 172 Cup around...
That was me in Pyle! I just came on to put my own thread up, but you've beaten me to it! Car was looking lovely and clean mate, unlike mine :o
Did the one in Swansea have a plate DWN 1C or something similar?
Rhod.
Thought I'd share a few shots I took at the weekend from a very cold and windy Epynt. Some absolutely superb machinery out which made for some good action.

1. Silver 172 Cup on the A465 approaching Llandarcy roundabout at around 11:30am today; had a slightly silly looking aftermarket exhaust.
2&3. Silver Phase 1 172 being followed by what I think was a Megane 225 F1 on the B4333 outside Newcastle Emlyn around 5pm.
4. Silver 182 parked outside a...

Thanks for all the comments gents!
Cheers, I was using a Canon EOS 350D with a Canon 70-200mm f4L lens. I'm upgrading to a 40D pretty soon so if anyone is interested in a 350D give me a shout.
I've since spoken to the co-driver who was knocked out cold - he can't remember a thing from the...
Attended the Harry Flatters Rally over the weekend, and had the misfortune to witness this:
Driver walked away unhurt but co-driver was knocked out cold. He has since made a full recovery. The Williams is a complete wreck obviously.
Couple of other shots from the two days...
With the Harry Flatters rally on the Epynt Ranges, maybe they all thought they were competing or something?
Wasn't pleasant to come over a brow to see a 182 on the wrong side of the road overtaking on a blind corner, no more than 100 yards away, desperately trying to catch up with the rest of...
Hi mate sorry for not responding, been a bit busy with a house move etc.
The white car is a Darrian T90 GTR, basically a kit car designed specifically for rallying. These days they're predominantly used for tarmac rallying. The top Darrians have got 'supercar' performance and can easily match...
He came into the chicane far too fast, locked up and hit the barricades. Luckily only superficial damage and he was able to continue.
Thanks for all the comments!
Couple of pics from a hillclimb I attended at the weekend. Great variety of cars, but I was only really interested in the "Rally Car" Class.
Hope you like.
A couple of Clios to keep things on topic:
Something different to finish:
Cheers...
I'm not too far away! Never once been spotted in it either even though I drive all over the place - been up to your neck of the woods a few times aswell.
Only remembered just this minute, actually spotted you twice last Sunday. First time was on the A40 when you were coming into Carmarthen, then again in the afternoon when you were heading back towards Haverfordwest. I'd been down to watch the Bob Shaw Memorial rally at Talbenny.
Anyone?
Well since this event uses stages virtually on my door-step, it would have been rude to miss it! Here are my efforts from a cracking event.
I think this chap spends more time sideways than any other driver. Highly entertaining!
Thanks...
I parked up at Dixies with the intention of going no further than the Llandeilo'r Fan Triangle - it was then a case of "what's round the next corner" etc; as I'd never been over that part of the Ranges before. Before I knew it, I was miles away!
Thanks for the comments everyone.
Thought I'd share some photos I took at the Tour of Epynt rally on the weekend, there were some absolutely stunning cars out to play!
All comments welcome!
Start off with some modern WRCs:
Some Group B machinery:
And for the Escort Mark II fans...
Cracking pics as usual Gary, love the 6R4s! Wish I made the effort to get down there now, surely one of the best entry lists seen on a National event in years!
