As title, I'm newish to the polishing side of things. I haven't got a DA but using a rotary. Anyway the whole car seems spotless upon inspection and fake lights. But the sun shows up like "trails"?
Using a green pad. Rotary and Menzerna PF2400 then wiping down after with car pro eraser.

Yeah I placed the wires on the copper plates and they still fire up then. So it's the scotch locks that's messing my life up. I am right in thinking that the black and red wires in the dome light are the actual ones I need to tap into though?
As title, s***s now beyond me. Bought an led strip with positive and negative wiring.. Popped out the Dome light, got the red and black wires and scotch locked red and red together, black and black together...
Don't work?
Leds works fine, hooked it up to the battery and they fire up.
Wtf is...
Awesome mate, is it constantly on with the ignition through a fuse? If so it'll probably be better to wire it in that way rather than splicing. Which fuse have you piggy backed off? Thanks for the info. Champion
The money pit now be insured!
Went through green light. Cheapest I could get online was around £670/£64month. With greenlight £450/£45month! Awesome stuff! I'm paying £57 a month at the moment for the 1.4 so it's a huge drop! But the savings will go straight into the petrol tank .
Last day...
Well last than a month now and it'll no longer be in use! I'll move onto/into the 182. Gave it a blast over with some detailing stuff! Only on 53K and still going strong. Served me well!

If you're finding it impossible to get 1 centre cap your next best bet is to invest in a spare wheel.. In form of a Turini with the cap hahaha, slightly OTT but you get a spare wheel and centre cap so win win. But then again you did the impossible and managed to buy 3/4 in one go lol
Yeah ktec...
As above, i feel stupid as it is posting yet another thread about this as i mustve read the other 50 threads 5x over and still cant get my head around it.

After another recent issue with my crankshaft sensor.. Turns out it wasn't even an original part! So new one needed it is. Quick look on ebay and came across one off a 172 cup I believe and sorted a quick buy it now for £10. The seller turned out to be a member on here @JJS1979

Was going to order the trophy ones from SGS but the BMW ones are apparently the same and better quality.. Plus cheaper! So I got them

Not sure on its exact name but it's failed me twice now, would it be the unit itself or the wiring loom?
Cars been sorned since June. It failed in around July and today. Just sat there in the back, engine running then cuts out.
Take that out ^ clean it and put it back in = sorted.

Going off topic, but that shot on Bandersons car... wot. I honestly cant tell if the under bonnet has been chromed or just stupidly clean and polished?!

Barely drove the car as it is yet, can barely remember the Arctic one I had for a week so plan is to drive it .. Hard. For a good week or so when it's on the road and once my week of fun and feeling the feel of the car, take it to family Renault mechanic to fit everything I've bought (inlets...
Decided to reveal what's under the back seats today.. The results:
Car was once lady owned, so probably once a family car? You would think so with the selection of crayons, haribo, pens, stickers, loom bands and even sea life safari tickets from Birmingham. All adds to the history and...
