Ok calm down calm down!!
Sorry I just wanted to get him a little something for his car, As said its mainly a little gesture gift as only been with his Sis 3 months, A tester pot slipped my mind and knew I didn't want to pay for a full sized pot of wax.
Like what?
Will look on CYC site but what do you recommend?
In honesty didn't think about sample pots and I've already order Blackhole so guess I'll be paying P&P again unless someone fancies doing me a tester pot if they have something suitable, obviously I'll pay them.
Just thinking I'm sure I'll assist him when he first uses it so he can slap a bit of R222 on it, Might not be a perfect Combo but it'll give him an idea if he wants to get into detailing.
Black hole has been ordered and as said 'if' he gets the detailing bug I'll get him some more bits hat have been recommended.
He's the girlfriends brother so not about to go spending a fortune on him.
Anyone know how much Renault will charge for Disks and Pads, I work quite near one so thinking if they are not crazy money that it may just be easier to get genuine parts from them.
I'm not wanting to go over board as like I say I've no clue if he'll take to the detailing lifestyle, I've got a fair few products so will give his car a good going over and top of with a wax, Just thought I'd get him something for his car as like I say its his pride and joy.
Argh only had the wheel off an hour ago when having the the Gf's father looking at it, Brakes were last done by a garage so would presume they wouldn't have left anything off.
Her Brother is a farm machine engineer and has his can at home, No idea what he has in there.
Might be best to just say f**k it and buy new disks... Less hassle and at least I know the bearings will be pressed in correctly.
Had the wheel off and disks are as so is there anyway of changing just the bearings on the rear?
Girlfriends Father and her Brother are very handy with a spanner.
Anywhere I can buy them on the day? Renault won't hold stick will they?
GSF it anywhere likely to?
Gf's Dad should be able to fit them once I've bought them.
Was done by a garage so no idea, It's annoying cos I do a fair few miles a week so from first noticing it has gotten worse very quickly, Supposed to be doing a long journey Friday so that'll be fun :(
Ok so I'm mechanically useless!!
My car has started to make a humming sound coming from the rear passenger wheel area, It gets progressively louder as my speed increases.
Is it a wheel bearing? Car is on 117k and to my knowledge hasn't had a wheel bearing changed so presuming its that.
Anyone...
I'm just not sure how much time he is willing to put into detailing... I know it is his pride and joy but I'm not sure if he's really the detailing type, He likes to keep it clean but that is a long way off wanting to detail it.
Not wanting to go overboard as its more a little gift off me and...
So I'm looking to buy the Girlfriends Brother some detailing gear for Christmas, He has a black RX8 and takes pride in it BUT isn't exactly a detailer as I saw him using Turtle Wax products :S
Apart from the obvious shampoos is there and miracle product for black paint?
I'm thinking basic...
Ok so the Audio booklet for the Mini is useless but I know it's a 'Boost' HU... Will take a quick look at the actual car when I finish work to see what I think will work best.
A friend is picking up a 54 plate Mini Cooper tonight and she has asked me to look into an adaptor to connect her iPhone to the stereo and also charge it.
Was thinking Parrot or Belkin I guess but not sure what models are best VFM as cost does come into it fairly.
Anyone able to help...
