I couldnt really guess to be honest mate, it wouldnt be cheap though. It might not be the pump, as i said its best to investigate.

Did you chnage the leads? Are the plugs firing?

Its not the cheapest of jobs if it IS the Water pump as i think the timing belt comes off. Personally i would investigate it further though and i wouldnt use the car much until you find out what it is.

Should have been done when the belts were done..or atleast its good practise to.

Fingers crossed then. The car has just turned 5 so it's due for the belts being done.

I check mine everytime i wash the car..usually twice a week but i have no idea how long this leaks been going on for. Could be fresh for all i know but until i fix it i will be checking everyday. The oil is fine by the way.

Well this is the first time the cover has been off as far as im aware. The car has only done 30k. Im going to check the oil now.
