36k (if done properly) should take @ 2.5 hours...check all brakes /tracking/gearbox levels etc etc...lights/ washers all sundries... trouble is main dealers have had it their own way for too long...they are taking their time to change with the intoduction of garages being able service cars...

they might keep them in stock for quite a while...+ dealers have to warrant the car... if you buy private and it has been hit or has finance then you have no comeback...at a dealer they must give you your money back. we all have to pay 17.5% vat on any profit ..so 175 quid to the treasury as...

daz...your parts genuine would be nearer 80 quid...+ we do spark plugs on the 36k service as well.

enough said on this i think before it turns nasty. my overheads are enormous... we have to earn 1500 quid per week to break even!! but we still manage to offer quality service at a low price.. i hope now that the arguements stop.. omar has the right to his opinion and because it was not...

times are usually less for the smaller engined cars....less oil..cheaper plugs.. etc etc..more room in engine bay as well...

would have cost £ 180.09 inc vat here oms.... obviously more if we had supplied the oil and air filter. that includes all the extras you mentioned.. we charge £ 30.00 per hour to clio sporters.. £ 38.00 normal... (not having a go at mike...just putting our prices as requested)
