the pressure in the rail of the dci is too high to play with...also you must not use ether on them ...very harmfull..(no probs with it on the dti tho)
the dci has the injectors at the back..they are electronic and can't be "cracked off"
more likely to be the dti...which has the normal injection..glow plugs would be my 1st check...then the filter and housing.
high lift cams will give poor running on idle..they are altering the mixture by keeping the valves open longer..
all the power comes at high revs....you may need to richen the mixture up so more fuel is going in..
i looked at one for dave(member)...7 owners...he loves it ..
take the condition and service history only...forget owners.
this is a car that people will own for a while...just to say they have had one!!
