Cheers mate, no never been touched by my hands, and when I iron-x'd it last time it was like a blood bath, so I doubt the previous owner did much with it so will do!
I owe you a pint or two after all this help so far!
It lives!!!!
It's no longer a dusty bus hidden away haha. This has reminded me I need to ring you about doing my cambelt at the at the end of the month. How do you fancy doing two R27's in the same day? ;)
I'll be coming this year, will be my first year.
If you need any help setting up or anything, I'm only 7 miles down the road and more than happy to give you a hand.

Nope, same place, same time and same colour as mine. Mine are fine, his aren't. I can only see the acidic cleaner to blame, or he's been cleaning them with bricks as well.
Wheels in question where Turnini's, and mine are the standard R27 wheels, so not much difference in wheel shape.
I'll stick to Bilberry and Poorboys sealant.
My mate once said the same as a lot of people in here that it doesn't damage wheels, shame he spent a fortune having his wheels refurbed, for them to be bubbled and the paint splitting 6 months down the line from using AG Clean Wheels every week.
Cheers for your help gally, really appreciated.
Will get all the gear ordered next week, budget is £200 so that fits nicely! Using Nattys as my mate bought me some at Autosport at the weekend as a thanks for taking him (got free tickets) and his cars off the road, and he's seen me using Natty's...
No nothing major, just swirl and light scratch removal, there's only a couple of light scratches where my ex smashed her heels against the sill. Looking at a kit which is the das6, poorboys ssr1 and ssr2 for £115. Then seal with Chemical Guys Wet Mirror finish and then Poorboys Nattys Red wax...
