    My alloy got hit at around 5/10mph and had to be replaced, so I'd imagine it needs new ones.

    One, maybe two new doors, new o/s quarter panel, new wings, new bumper, 1 new headlight, then paint. That's gonna add up quickly. For the money that'd cost, you can probs get a straight one.

    Have you got headlight washers? It may of ripped the pipe off, that happened on my old 172 when I hit one of the stripey little fkcers.

    Yes it will fail, neither of mine worked for my MOT (standard ones), so they just popped a couple in for me for free so it would pass.

    Lol at wanting to get 39-40mpg in the 197, I see 27/28 daily, and that's not giving it much lead foot. Enjoy it though, I love mine.
