im happy with my full fat, yes it may be a little slower, but with fuel prices the way they are at the moment who's really driving that fast to care about who's car is quicker...
all im concerned about right now is that im hitting 40mpg easily and not having to fork out hundreds of pounds in...

i thought both were eqaully impressive, with Matt clearly focused on usability and function whereas the ktec one has been engineered to look as stock as is possible when that amount of mods are done.
i garuntee that when ktec built the car they wanted to keep everything as mint and as tidy as...
i average about 37-38 with a combined journey, 10 mins in towns and 15 mins on dual carridge way.
not to bad really. i still havent managed to go an entire tank of fuel without giving it the beans at least once!
could even buy an external hardrive, thats what im gonna do soon.
350gb for about £70. powered by the usb cable. can keep thousands of track on it that way, much better than any cd changer :)
do you not use the usb facility, i have this same HU.
use the USB, get a simple 2-4-6-8-16-32 Gb memo stick and lob all your tunes on one of them.
i was thinking of doing the same but since have sorted a usb flash drive and its so much better :)
Bic - regards the mirrors, do the current painted parts of the mirror pull off and then the new ones need t be bonded on in place, its not a stick on top of part???

you must have not looked very far...
the inlet cover was resting on a clio 1*2 bonnet...that car has the splitter/spolier/fog light surrounds & mirrors fitted.
then behind that was a load of other parts available for other cars 106/saxo etc! and some more clio bits n bobs, plus bics engine...

Bic - these 'people' that were disappointed with the stand clearly dont know what it takes to get this kind of thing sorted in such a small space of time...

My Dad got a new SLR 450D so thought after a quick clean today, In the rain! it would be nice to get some pics with it.

if your having trouble getttin the new unit to push fully home then its probably wires in the way, i found that the wiring for the harzrad lights/door locks/rear screen was in the way. pull off that panel and you can manipulate the wiring round the side of the new unit to allow it fully home :)...

a mate of mine is hoping to purchase a set of injectors for his Throttle bodied saxo vts...
he's says 172 ones will do the job with his fuel rail.
what are they worth 2nd hand. what are they new also?
i told him a set of pico 490cc will set him back £200 new...
