Went back to this today to see if the patches had improved things.
Nah, not really, still a f**king mess, 1.04 now and still barely playable.
Bethesda are a joke, this game is so far from finished it's unreal.
I hope this damages the company severely, they deserve nothing less for giving...
I bought an Android unit, so I run Waze and Spotify on the unit itself.
I used Macrdroid on my phone for automation, so that when my phone connects to the units bluetooth it automatically turns HotSpot on so the unit can connect to 4G.
The whole thing for me, lazy as it sounds, is I didn't...
Isn't using a dial to do everything annoying? I had to get rid of the RNSE in the Audi for that reason; entering postcodes one char at a time with a dial was painful.
The DA230 has the Spotify app. It's like downloading an mp3, but that mp3 is limited to Spotify only.
As someone who downloaded bucket loads of music for years, the second I changed to Spotify I can't imagine going back, it's just so convenient. In the car I use my phones hotspot for 4G, but...
Who uses discs any more? That's just wasting space that could be used for more screen.
If you really needed it you could probably hook up a disc drive to it and put it in the glovebox.
For now I just bought a single din MVH-S410BT, but I could always get a better quality unit if needed in future, first I just want to confirm the idea works.
If the Pioneer connects up with one of these leads with no interference, I'm thinking of buying a Chromecast Audio and putting it into the aux port of it, then send music via Spotify Connect to the Chromecast.
I'll need to get a 4G dongle, but that's fine, I'll just get a 10gb data per month...
The thing is, it's a decent unit functionally. Because it basically runs Android, it can do pretty much anything, the screen quality is excellent, being able to split screen Waze/Google Maps and Spotify is a great feature. You can download pretty much anything from the Play Store, it's not as...
But that's not a genuine item, so will probably have exactly the same problems the unit I'm trying to use has.
Plus the TT has a fairly unique centre console shape, so unless I stick something in a fascia, it's not going to fit.
This is the one I have...
I think the adapter I've got arriving today does that without needing to splice wires? It doesn't have RCA's, so I assume rather than taking low level to high level like the RCA style one does, this is going to use low level like the original RNSE does?
Unfortunately, the brown and black...
1. Don't know
2. Not really, because having screens in cars is the norm now, I think most thieves just assume any screen is built into the car and they won't just be able to go in and pull in out like you could with old single din units. It probably still happens, but I wouldn't let it worry me...
