    Android Auto Stereo

I thought that might be the case, but you can never tell from just looking at the listings! Looks like I will have to save up some pennies and go for a branded item then

    Motorsport? Racers get in here!

If you don't like being on the spanners, forget trying to do it cheaply. Pay for a seat in a team. Civic Cup - £1600 for a weekend http://areamotorsport.co.uk/racecarhire/

    Android and storage...

Settings in the camera will let you save to the card. What 'stuff' is filling the phone up - Is it media or apps? If it is media, then quickest way to move stuff would be to plug it into a computer and go through the file manager. As for moving apps, I think you just have to do them 1 by 1...

Steaming music - how much data?

How much data does streaming music/radio actually use? I keep considering it for when I am in the car, but concerned that I will end up using a massive amount of data

    Lower cost go pro alternative

That looks decent! Do any of the cheaper cameras have the option to turn on spot metering like on a GoPro? It only measures/meters the centre spot for the light balance settings, so ideal when mounting in a car

    Lower cost go pro alternative

WiFi is so you can connect it to a phone/tablet and change settings, preview, etc. Can be very handy when setting cameras in in awkward places, you can look at your phone to see where it is pointing.

    Photography for estate agents

Random thought popped into my head today, do many people just do photography for estate agents? The photo's published by estate agents are usually complete rubbish, poorly composed, not got enough in the frame, etc so it wouldn't be difficult to improve on what they do currently. I have seen...

    Thermostat change and system bleed

I need to change the stat on my 197, I have seen some pictures and found where it is. Is the change as simple as remove the intake pipes, 3 bolts off, change stat, and put back together? Also what is the best method for bleeding the system after changing the thermostat?

I bloody hate insurance - accident moan

The government really need to get involved to sort out the insurance industry, a lot of it is a complete joke like non-fault accidents putting your premiums up. Another is over night storage, on a street is less than a secured garage. And fitting a tracker = higher premium than standard...

What address do you use if you own multiple cars in different locations?

Even the comparison sites offer a bit to put the address of where a car is stored/kept. Just state the address where each of the cars are normally.

    Raspberry Pi

I have been looking into Pi's over the past few days. I am thinking of making a media and sat nav centre for a car, which would be additional to the existing stereo which would be ideal to modernise older cars. I have found a power supply which auto boots up and shuts down with the car's...
