I won't be buying a car already done. Built right, you won't loose much money come resale (if your bothered about that). But a major part of the purpose of the car will be the advertising/media side for my friends company, so the build pictures create more traffic, etc. Plus I will never buy...

Budget would be around 5-10k including the car purchase

Cup racer is out the window at those prices, plus I like the building. Bare in mind, I will be able to get a lot of parts at trade price, plus all tax can be claimed back ;)

Yup, a mate has his own company so would be used in all his media, stickered up with the company logos etc in return I get lots of parts for free

Posting for my mate again! He has a 1.6 (51 plate) and the rear exhaust rubber has gone. When replacing it, does the whole metal part have to be replaced, or can the rubber bit just be replaced? And part numbers, etc would be handy too :)
