thanks for the comments :)
danny - ive been keeping track of you on detailing world ;)
it was circa £50 all in. powerflow etc. quoted me around £30 but seeing as they dont tig weld thought i would go to someone proper.
if your going halfords then peugeot cossack grey is a good match, as is rover stone grey. peugeot graphite grey is comparatively too bluey in colour but is still a nice colour.
if you current cat is a twin cat, and has two cats running side by side then it is shorter in length than the ph2 172. however the later ph1's tend to come with the ph2 single cat.
from day one ive loved this exhaust, the sound, quality of welds and performance gain makes it worth every penny and a no brainer when picking a system - however on my car it has never looked right. so took the plunge and dave (mini-valver) and myself made a trip to the exhaust centre to have...
popular choices are peugeot cossack grey, rover stone grey, ixell 205-100. if you wanna go black without a question my favourite is renault deep black GNA.
also sent you an essay via PM ;)
not going to make it look like a sport unless you change wings etc.etc., and compared to your current clio you will notice it feels alot more sluggish due to the added weight.
not a car i would recommend in all honesty.
potentially could be that the rubber bushes attached to the damper have been overtightened and split. otherwise have you kept the rubbers on the spring platforms, as otherwise you have metal from the spring touching the car which causes a bit of noise.
car needs to be a good 25mm lower but i honestly cant see the back tyre fitting without extensive work. not quite as simple as pulling the arch on a clio.
as said entirely depends on what you want, if you want a warranty go for the 197, if you want a car you can mod and track go for the ph1. I bloody love mine
wheels with diff tyres / suspension gives you bags of potential, but at the min is not looking fantastic if im honest.
rome wasnt built in a day and all that ;)
relatively easy to do, not even particularly time consuming in all honesty if youve done a bit of spraying.
if you have a search, pay your fiver ;), theres a few guides on here which arent too bad at all.
never seen a car resprayed like that, but im loving it :D
really need to have a proper look round this as i think ive only seen it the once on the road... overtaking a series of cars on the way to cheadle lol
lmao. im still waiting on demon tweeks to get my recaro subframes sorted, and sportseats4u still havent given me a fooking refund so im becoming increasingly pissed off with them :(
