i think the xenons on the clio renaultsports are brilliant. Uniform light, great coverage and bright! coudlnt want any better. Use full beam on dark country lanes.

a thought.. maybe the black surround expands with more miles as it gets banged more? so in theory people with more miles will have bigger gaps. But surely it will suddently stop one day if thats the case as it cant touch LARGE gaps, it wont move that much.

only 1 mm gap? if you look at my pic above mine has nearly 5mm gap each side before they touch the black surround?

same happened on my dynamque with passenger airbag, thought it was the poppy coral tho! goes to show passenger airbag off= new windscreen as well.

if i recall correctly the manual states, the traction control prevents wheelspin and the ESP overall keeps you going in the direction you want. Obviously it is all part of one big system.

you go in to settings on the stereo press and hold one of the 4 way scrolls on the right of the radio, cant remember which now. Its got a setting between 1 and 5, 5 being the case that it adjusts the most for you, so you may just want to turn it to 2 or something instead of totally off.

next time you try it, press the washer very quickly with the lights on cos it says you need to use an extended press to get the headlight washers going. Not just a quick press. I never use my washers so hopefully should be ok now mine has been replaced.

they have traction control with ESP. its all explained in the manual my friend. They do a similar job, ESP applies brakes/reduces power to any wheel needed in order to remain in control, using a sensor in the steering to make sure you end up on the path you want.

yeah common fault, mine seems ok so far. Do you use your washers a lot then, is that why balls fall out and bottle keeps cracking?

on the back arches? there aint no paint to chip apart from the 1" thick part of the bumper you can see, is this what you mean?

still get mucky wi flaps though, so still as much cleaning at end of day. you will just end up cleaning the flaps instead.
