I might just get a new one from the dealor then i now it will be fit under the drivers seat and be working and it will be new also with the same warranty as the car, 3 years?
PS does anyone have a picture of the Official Renault CD changer that...
they have asked me to take the changer down to them, he thought maybe they would have to re order a whole new changer just to get the wire? WTF?? lol
ill take it down on monday. This picture is the close up of the square connector which is well and truly solid on the side of the changer... The...
ok thanks thats helpful. They said they would fit the cd changer for free to my 182, but i dont want to leave it til a few days before i pick car up as they are unlikely to get the cable in time. So this cable I need to order 82 00 085 591 will work with the sat nav and show the cd changer and...
edde thanks for the reply. The chnager cable in the first pic is about 10 inch long, one end screwed into the changer by a small square block the other is the pic connector as in the pic.
So i presume when it was in dynamique there was another wire connecting from the grey wire to the headunit...
do you mean adjust the level of the bulbs, they are automatic arnt they?
my order arrived today too, 2 pairs of silver vision and pair of H7 blue vision with free sidelights for the main beam of the 182 to match the Xenon a bit more cant wait to change them...

Like some of you have had I recieved a letter from Renault thanking me for my continued custom (they must know this is second new car of them unless they all say that) and that my order is on its way expected to arrive 10th June. the letter goes on to say how unlike some manufacturers Renault...
I will be fitting my VDO Dayton renault changer under the drivers seat of my 182 it came out of my dynamique with cassette where it worked by the remote control and was fully compatible.
My 182 with have the sat nav but i presume the fittings are the same to the rear of the cd headunit?
I...
AndyG I think it is a good deal from a official Renault dealorship. I am getting mine from a renault dealorship and not afraid of saying im paying book price, (decent trade in price though) but I am also getting the 35% deposit, and 3years 0% finance from RFS. yes 3 years 0% with a 35% deposit...
mine was sigma an official renault alarm fitted after delivery on the dynamique. but i notice on 182s and 172 the ultrasonics are a different shape and positioned lower down the pillars so might be a different alarm.
on the standard clios the pedal pops off in event of front impact, (and i can certify they do!!! :(
anyway just wondering if the same safety feature is employed in the 172s and 182s with their fance aluminum jobbies....
;)

its the insurance company, say Admiral that award you with the no claims, so when it comes to renew they fax proof of your no claims onto another company. Cant see there been a problem at all.
The only catch is with a 10 month policy, your renewal comes round 2 months quicker every year so may...
well this must be what renault want you to use then, 5w40 Elf Excellium LDX 5W40 and acea A3, i remember in the clio manual it says if poss use .... for improved fuel economy cant remember the spec it suggested though.
Ill run it with whats in it from new whatever that is, then at 2000miles...
cool, i want one! :-)
I havnt seen it on TV, does it get much airplay, at what times as I havnt seen it?
Is there a way of saving that video from the net?
I was looking on ebay at this animal thingy, 2 things 1? what is it, and does it definately come with the car?
2) Is there a 182 advert on TV in UK now like the old 172 ads? I havnt seen one. Is it on net anywhere?
so much to choose from hard to know what is best.
Elf Excellium DID 5W40
matches what the manual says does it meet the specification though ACEA?
it says,
"
Very high performance lubricant based upon Elf Synthetic Technology for petrol and diesel engines in cars, and particularly for...
ill be making a checklist to take with me when I collect the car, includes all of the above. Who takes the mats out to sell, is it the dealor or when the cars are on the way?
should be 2X tyre foam I think?
go round paint fine tooth comb, underneath, no dents on exhausts etc
sometimes...
i always thought fully synthectic is best, full stop. I dont really want to be using diffeent oils in summer and winter.
Elf competition it is then, 10w40 they state in the handbook I think. But its a semi would an Elf fully synthetic be better, not bothered about the cost.
Why is magnetec...
what does everyone recommend then? is Mobil 1 suited is GTX Magnetec suited, and if both are which is best? or what about the Elf supplied from up here in yorkshire its what renault reccomend but is the fully synthetic any good?
I was told by admiral that the 10 month policies of theirs count as one year, full stop. So when you go to another company they send proof of that years claim free, hence they just say 1 year they dont specify it was a 10 month policy.
Can someone confirm wether this is true or not?
i see, dont think this was on the cat 1 on the dynamique. Take it their is a manual included that explains all this?
do we not get a cat 1 certficate with it being a standard UK accessory?
