I personally wouldn't upgrade from my 4 to the 4S, think it's personal preference and if you're in contract or not. If you can afford it and want it, get it. Simple.

Only good thing about iOS5 is iMessenger IMO. iCloud is near enough disabled on my 4 as all the good features in it just destroy my data package, so I'm interested to see if the networks take that in to account with the 4S...

I hate the white on every picture I've seen of it, but in the flesh (glass, metal...what ever) it's lovely. It does still look hellagay though.

Is it too much to ask for both? Apple no doubt already have the 5 ready to roll out, but they can squeeze extra cash out of an old design with some slight improvements so why wouldn't they? There will no doubt always be a v1...

Not substantial enough of an upgrade for me to spunk £600+ on. Personally I think it's just greed by Apple, but they're there to make money and mugs will pay for it - so can't really blame them.
