iirc if you crash a write off, its automatically wrote off no questions asked but dont quote me on that ;) id buy one in a shot if the repair was good enough, especially if its uneconomical to repair

any good machine shop can do it, but for your own piece of mind it might be worth buying one on an exchange basis from a reputable company.

diesels have alot more power lower down, if i was you i'd go for the DCi 80, or Dci 100. The 1.4 wont feel as fast initially as there is less torque but you'll notice the kick higher up the range, its what you prefer tbh
