too far to view the work as i'd be down there everyday if it wasnt over an hours drive away :( i've not nagged them too much as i have a courtesy car, however when i get the car back they will be nagged to high heaven until they give me compensation!
to be honest if i was gonna put turbines on, i'd have them fully machine polished so they look kinda ronal turbo like, would look awesome then!
i like them because they're different, will look better when the cars clean tho
they always promise to get back to u and never do. If i was you mate i'd get on their back from the beginning, something i didnt do hence it taking so bloody long! mine should be done now, whether it is or not is a different story.
What courtesy car have u got btw?
thats shocking^
racingblue182 - cheers mate really appreciate it. Hopefully i'll get a call tomorrow, if not i'll be onto them right away. Once i've spoke to them and see what they offer i'll give u a pm just to check where i stand :)
i wouldnt bother with things which are a different colour, i use the arguement that if the cars dirty its a different colour, so does it change the appearance? thats how i got out of the wheel situation. Although i have heard stories of them pulling people up on things like indicators, door...
^ i can assure you if you crashed your car and you hadnt told them they wouldnt cover you. My insurance tried to pull me up on powdercoated alloys, which arent any different to standard
take the ph quick, although i wouldnt bother with recaros etc cos u'll be spending a grand on seats for a car your only gonna keep a few months, and with you buying an sti, evo etc you wont need to transfer the seats to your new car and you'll loose about 500 quid on the resale. Also chris's car...
the bodyshop were fine in the beginning. admiral held up proceeedings by not giving me a decision for a while, but now its down to the bodyshop not getting the work done quickly :(
so im just wondering, but i still complain to the insurance company about the wait (as ive got their policy)...
tell you what i'll do matey. ill bring the courtesy car round, then when it goes tits up we can just send it back with no harm done ;)
but i'm up for popping round and having a laugh at you (i mean helping out lol)
wouldnt bother spending any money on the rear brakes to be honest, as they dont really offer you anything, and they're tiny so regardless of what you do they still look silly lol.
as for the fronts, ive never used them myself, but they do look quite good. considered the brembo max discs with...
BUMPING THIS UP :dapprove:
still not got my car, and still not got a confirmation date of when its due.
will be starting to question the bodyshop, and the insurance company as to when it due to get sorted.
i'm paying £34 a week in insurance, and where is my car??
with the exception...
do you mean you havent got the three pin tool you use to remove the plastic cover off the alloys which covers the wheel bolts. otherwise im really struggling to get what your asking :S
if thats the bit your missing you need to pop down renault and ask nicely for them to take them off, if...
wont get more than 4.6k for it, when you can get a ph2 with similar miles on it for 5k.
i'd take off the 'bigger mods' like the alloys and the H&R's and sell them seperately. they're not really adding anything to its intrinsic value, so sell them seperate. you should still be able to get...
lol prob summit to do with the fact i crashed it and its been off the road for 3 months ;)
you dont drive through endon on a sat morning do u by any chance?
