Toshiba already released the tech, similar to that used on the 3DS, about a month after the other manufacturers models needing glasses hit the shelves. So I'd guess that it will happen in the next year or so once it's perfected, the major problem being viewing angle ATM. Until it's glasses free...

Portal 2 is one of the best games I've bought in recent years. At times one of the most f**king annoying too.

No idea about tethering, but on my phone I average about 250mb a month...except for this month where I'm so far running at 425mb somehow. I'd assume that you won't be using your iPad anywhere near as much as your phone, once the honeymoon period has finished so 2Gb does sound a bit excessive.
