Probably your Mum's provider has an outdated DNS cache and the sites moved servers or changed IPs. Try using http://www.opendns.com/ to view the site and see if you can access it then. If so then you can either sit and wait for their DNS to recache or just change the default DNS for your Mum's...

Pain in the arse, the signing procedure enforced by RIM is far too much hassle and that's not even trying to get App World authorisation. Unless it's a commercial app that's gonna make you money it's not worth it IMO.
I was told to use an app called pixelpipe (or something like that)...by the time I'd been told that though I'd got bored of the idea so didn't look in to it any more.
From a data security perspective it is major as it gives access to all contact details, voicemail blah blah blah.
But every other function of the phone is still, as far as I'm aware, secure. It's not really the end of the world, but it's something that shouldn't have been allowed to slip...
Piece of s**t causes an error on startup for me every f**king time (wlstartup.exe). Finally given me the push to uninstall it, seeing as I've not used it now for years.
