Great stuff, glad to see it's all gone to plan buddy and bonus points there for fitting it yourself, nice one :up:
I've noticed a big difference with my Whiteline as you know, hopefully you'll feel the same. Be interesting to see what the brace and top mounts add to it overall too, as we've...
Ahhh I see yeah that makes sense  do you think that's something that can be bought on it's own? Or needle in a haystack job? I never looked into for mine so would be interesting to know!
Good update as usual! That's gutting about the heater tho, so it does look fooked then for sure?
Will you need a whole new heater box/matrix/thingy? This is what Renault said mine now needs but after getting the new resister fitted, I've still not done anything else and most likely won't...
Yeah have a read on my thread bud, lots on there about it, long story short, was playing up a lot, took it to Renault who said coilpack and plugs...... both done! Still did it!! Took it to Andy @ ED and he got it on the rollers and straight away said fuel and pump. But, he did say Renault would...
That's a nice low milage that, defo worthy of a big thumbsup
I only wanted a phase 2 originally but I've joined the longggg list now of people loving the phase 1's!
This is interesting they've said about fuelling! All the issues I had with mine, not revving/stuttering past 5k, turned out to be fuel pump! Fingers crossed it's something like this with yours Andy. Pre new pump I made 150ish, new pump fitted and mapped, 180.9 so keep the faith!
😂😂 yes I made sure it was clean kitchen roll, call it a freebie!
Glad to see it arrived all ok mate, always a bit nervous sending anything like that in the post incase it gets thrown around!
Look forward to seeing it fitted!
No probs at all, have posted it today for you so all being well, should be with you soon
I've got PS3's all round on mine, great tyre, never had any grip issues etc. Recommended!
Looks great  the set up you've taken out should have been what it came out of the factory with, being a bit more plush you could say, but totally get the need for oem, looks minty mint!
Thanks Paul, fingers crossed it all goes to plan! I'm just impatient and was hoping to get them back at the weekend 😂
All good with the inlet too, very well packaged and arrived all ok!
Have been getting a few parts organised the last few days for the small-ISH engine bay freshen up mentioned in the previous posts!
Thanks to @mossyv6 for the spare upper inlet manifold;
This (with the existing fuel rail guard from the car) has been taken to the powder coaters this morning...
Yeah the old Fords and stuff was their bread and butter you could say, remember taking my first Series 2 RST there to get stage 1'd in 2006 when they had their old unit, Christian taking the ECU out and got soldering LOL and also had my Series 1 RST there in the newer unit where they are now in...
APT? As in APT in Lenwade? Wowzers, that takes me back, always used to be up there with the RS Turbo's etc especially when Christian worked there. Bet it's changed a bit now!
Huuge improvement there with the RB interior matey, to be fair that stitching on the logo would do my head in as well so I see the need to do it:tearsofjoy:
Very good doing it all yourself too, imagine how much somewhere would charge to swap all that!!
Ahh I see what you mean yeah, there is more wear and tear on there isn't there!
Looks like a good solution tho Mark, will be interested to see how it comes out :up:
Thanks Mark! Yes I'd like it a decent, oem type silver, but not tooo bright but not dark either. If that makes sense? I'd like it to match the wheels ideally but doesn't have to be a perfect match, looking forward to getting it done now. Long time coming I think!
There's some very annoying...
Those top mounts look really smart fitted!! Also a bonus they completely cover those existing holes of course!
Fingers crossed the brakes is an easy fix
