Nice one cheers for that will keep an eye out for them........ if they are in great nick and not cloudy etc i'll be very interested. Ideally in both so that they match if that makes sense
Cheers bud, keep an eye on the thread for an update lol!
I'm the same, goodness knows what it'll make......... I mean yes mine is mapped so it should make good power/gains already!! But i'm not convinced, hence i'm getting people who know these cars inside out to do it this time
Good stuff mate, your all booked in and sorted then, plenty of time to save up as well
Nope not done yet...... i'm going tomorrow! I've had to wait a while as well so hoping Andy can get this 5k+ revving issue sorted on mine first, so that it can still be re-mapped as planned!
Since the last update, I've now spoken to Andy @ Engine Dynamics again and he said they'll run the car on the dyno when I go down there and see what the car is doing and then in my words, problem find from there. I was going to get the crank sensor to take with me but he said it doesn't sound...
The Engine Dynamics map and dyno running is around £200 i'm sure which is a good price I think, I originally paid £250 to get mine mapped before locally and that wasn't done by a specialist who can maybe tweek it and wasn't rolling roaded like Andy and the guys can do!! Your both exactly the...
Looks pretty decent to be honest, the issues sound *hopefully* simple to sort............ loving the flip out stereo, very fast and furious yoo but looks quite cool too 😂 I did spot the gearknob, but cheap and cheerful to sort, that suspension looks a great little bonus!
As mentioned above, it's because I have an aftermarket Alpine stereo fitted with steering wheel control adaptor leads etc........... said 'Renault' there from the moment it was all fitted
Is this the right part for the crank sensor? @Djw John @mintno1 @Dr Jekyll

Anything else required with this?
Nice one thanks for that mate  think I will get a spare soon and now saves all the blank faces when asking for specific parts at these places now I have the part number lol....... yeah fingers crossed for Thursday but we shall see what I can sort
Yeah I know what you mean about wheels, I was happy with the standard 182 wheels and mine were in great nick and silver but couldn't kick the itch for Turini's and haven't looked back since I got some lol!
It's had brand new genuine Renault spark plugs and coil pack but not leads......... yet! The thing is, there's still no dash lights, no limp mode and when plugged in at Renault, there were zero codes or issues logged!! So strange. Leads or injectors or maybe even the current map on the car could...
Nice! Will have to pop down to my local Skoda dealer and grab a spare for mine sometime if they are that cheap as mines getting a little scuffed........ I was hoping to be at ED on Thursday but not sure now due to running issues (see my project thread) so will have to speak to Andy hopefully...
Went to French Car Show today at Donington with @T9 0LLE with the cars on the club stand and had a great day, putting around 350-360 miles on the Clio......... just can't believe my sat nav took us and down the dusty track into the circuit and completely ruined how clean my car had managed to...
