It's usually red for road and black for track with the Powerflex I thought but not 100% on the wishbone ones
Coming on nicely, it's the little touches that add up
Those gauge pods look really good!! You defo need a bit of that, just with some different gauges............. I thought the lower ones would be too low at the bottom of the dash but in that pic, they look ok actually although the two at the top at eye level would be my preference if I had to...
That looks soo smart, great little purchase........ when do you ever see Nova's about now!?
Agreed, those new wheels suit it 100x better, be interested to see what's at the powder coaters for the 'road' set!
Yeah I see what you mean, looks ok but hand painted finish doesn't match the bay. BUT.... worth it just to show it's the direction to go with, but this time get coated as you said. Defo black mate, but just because the gold will take away from the gold inlet otherwise......... satin black to...
In other news, the car has decided it won't rev past 5k as of Thursday, but no lights on the dash, no limp mode and it seems to run perfectly when running around town and normal cruise speed/low revs but as soon as you come off a roundabout say and accelerate, it won't go past 4.5-5k in any gear...
Cheers matey
Regards future plans, the list is very small to be honest as I pretty much have the car just as I want it now. As mentioned above though I have it booked into Engine Dynamics for a re-map etc and can't wait to see what it makes good or bad, otherwise new coolant bottle is...
Looks a great base for a project that  Future plans returning a few things towards standard again sounds good too!
Not a fan of the flocked dash myself but only as I can't handle the feel of that stuff 😂
This doesn't surprise me actually, I too have never sat in a 'Clio Recaro' but they do look like you'd kind of sit on them rather than in them if that makes sense. On the flip side, the Recaro seats in my old RS Turbo's are still the best seats I've ever had in a car. And these were 80's/1990 cars!!
Cheers :up::up:
You're so right, I still can't believe i've lost all my photos on here, I mean these threads take us all a lot of time to create and keep up to date and is cool to look back on what we've done. Not like I can go back to the start and replace all the photos, that truly would be a...
Right, Flickr account is now all sorted so photobucket can now do one......... cheers for the heads up above
Seems like a good opportunity to upload a few photos of the car and try it out (also as now all my photos are gone!!)
Such a small world, that's only down the road....... not a bad park at all wild duck
Oh and thank's for the comment about my car haha :kissingheart:
Massive improvement there, another step closer to 'minting it up' just not 100% on that splitter.......... but see how you get on over time
That's PH-fat too!
Progress is indeed progress matey, it's coming together well
My OCD wouldn't allow the front and rear seats not to match in mine but if they are in better condition and bought for a good price, it's a no brainer....... not that much different afterall!
Oh and there were wind deflectors on...
