Hi Paul, not started yet but id the truth be told Ill just be copying yours, I think it looks spot on. I need to find the right tools for the job, usually i NEVER touch anything engine wise so im a tad reluctant.
Going to have to start on Saturday so Ill (hopefully) have it done next...
absolutely agree with mike, most people would give the guy a good hiding, i wouldnt worry about peoples opinion on you, if your missus loves you etc etc shell stand by you.... in fact Id call her and say how sh*te u feel, it should be her consoling you as well as us........

The rest of my car is looking showroom (no blag!!) after my 5 hour cleanathon today!! Except the engine...sooo how do i so it?! Ive already got AutoGlym engine cleaner as i used to use it on my VTR, neverdone it on the 172 though so would really appreciate a guideline.

i had the legs on a VR6 (no bodykit version if that makes a difference??) from 20-90. Not much in it though, id say the VR6 was quicker than the Eilise i raced.

im sorry but i kinda agree, dont see how a 1.4 clio could even compare to a VR6? Theyre very capabale machines, corner or not you should have been toast.
