A few thousand K mileage I got some Ferodo pads from halfords.. Very happy with them.
But I filed a few mm off the edges to get them in and i think i did a mm or 2 too much, Now im on Eibach springs its worse, I can live with it, But does anyone know where i can get some shims from?
I...
People generally prefer most of the standard alloys in the Renault range to aftermarket imo.
Theyres not a lack of them out there, But when they pop up with decent tyres with a good depth and no major curbing people snap them up..
Early start, Hard work. Not really enough time for either paint or laquer to dry.
Depends how good of a job done you want to do yourself.
I plan on doing 2 wheels a day in summer.
Buy yourself some touch up paint, bodywork sandpaper and a rotary/DA/PC
And spend time repairing the bits you can, Get the other bits sprayed.
I can see some bits that can be touched up, sanded down, some imperfections that can be corrected. Some that needs a total respray...
Up to you if you...
lol@ mega roar.
The stop light when going round corners is usually the brake fluid level, Check that.
If the oil is ok by checking via dispstick, You could have a faulty sensor somewhere, Has toxic fume sensor (or called a simular name) ever flashed with the roaring? On the pic youve posted...
Has been done now £295 all in, Gave £300 because he got it done for me tonight, Been for a drive. f**k me its amazing, Different car.. Was very stiff and high before, Is like butter now and bites low, He said it was very shagged.
Thought they where supposed to be hard clutches but after driving...
tbh the amount of people drive around with 1 light working, Full beams on because both are blown.
If you want to run no sidelights i dont see a problem, Obviosly if you break down and need to stop blinding oncoming traffic, You cant switch to sidelights but...
Theyre will always be keyboard...
If i was doing a rep i would say front sport bumper, rear sport bumper and sport skirts.
Not body kit imo - Thats a chav halfords thing that would make them see red.
I plan on putting a rear sport bumper on, and im having the front inserts colour coded. Bell said the colour coding all round...
No worrys pal, The bit that bolts onto the subframe seems to fold down so im guessing it wont be a problem, The bloke said either way.
Cant wait to get it back on the road.
Yeah you will need the stalk with the fog switch on.
If you get "pulled" do you mean by the police, Because they wont care.
If your not bothered about them working put them in without wiring, Just looks better... If youve got a friendly MOT man you will be fine with it... And Da has said...
Check the brake fluid level for the stop light.
Pads probably worn, So level is low causing the light to come on. Either top it up or get some new pads in.
Bumper is back on, I didnt look before, the part that connects the bumper has a fold so the subframe can be dropped out with the bumper still on.. Happy days.
Should have a new clutch on tomorrow evening if all goes to plan fingers crossed. Being just under a week without a car has been rather...
1 screw out then pull the trim off, should be able to open it playing with the mechanism.
You wont need a new trim had mine off many times.
Not sure if it doable with the boot closed?
I believe the stock valeo clutches are rated better than most aftermarket out there.
I think ill put the bumper back on... Unless its taken out during the standard clutch change routine? I think the subframe is dropped but that can be with the bumper on.
