I didnt get this bit do you mean adjust it with a screwdriver with the drums off?
Ive heard once the drums are off the bearings should be reaplaced so i wanted to avoid that?
Will tightening up the cable really f**k up the drums? just a few turns?
After the bumpers off (half hour job) taking each light out is just 3 bolts, Then 2 plugs to unplug and the light case pulls out, This would help a lot when getting to fit the bulbs.
Doing it in situe would be a pain in the ass for sure.
^ Cheers both, Yeah matty i know what you mean.
I tighten the bolt clockwise dont i adding some tension. Just a bit i want to adjust it...
Can i do this with the handbreak on?
Looks amazingly better with those wheels.
I wont lie it looked very s**t before, Just didnt work and everything looked stuck on.
Is the skirt damage just stuck on glue or is that the paintwork damaged with primer showing?
Get it colour coded, RS grille and some nice touches and it will look...
Good detective work, Didnt think of doing that. Thanks.
It saids 03 clio tailgate badge, Myne is an 03 and the tailgate diamond is definatly not like that.
Maybe its for a campus?... Or front badge for a campus?
I had the car up in the air the other day, For changing the springs, I did plan to have a look under the car for the hanbrake asjuster but it got dark...
Where abouts is it? Theres a few heatshields.. Can anyone let me know which its under?
Cheers.
I got it off ebay, Paid a fair price because its new, It listed at 03 tailgate badge campus but it looks like a front badge yeah possibly for another renault car.
Part no 82 00 057 918
If someone can find out what it is so i can shift it on id be appreciated.
Nope it doesnt fit my car...
2 plastic rivets at the top out, Start at one end, Push the grill back once youve got a few tabs off hold the gap and keep pushing each tab out.
Then reverse, Once you do it it will be obvious.
^ Would be very hard with the bumper on i think.
Its a few nuts and screws to get my mk2 bumper off shouldnt be that much harder on yours.
Im tempted by a set of HIDs, But really dont want to be dazzling other drivers. Ive had a few cars which im sure have had HIDs in and not just blue bulbs...
As for polishing up the headlights, Yeah should work just hope the heat has'nt screwed up the plastic completly.
Doesnt the black stop the light reflections?
Just re-read the guide i was given, The subframe needs to be dropped out but does the bumper need to be off?
Splitter will be fitted tomorrow and might as well put the bumper back on if its not needed off.
Yep hes supplying Valeo clutch, Glad hes local, And yeah i think its a fair price.
Yep they where supprised when i said a pothole did it, I think it was just unlucky and has nocked something, But while its out may aswell change it.
Ive had the bumper off to polish and remove old splitter and...
It whirs in reverse, like its slipping, Clutch pedal now is rediculously high, The cable works. So like the bloke said somethings been nocked out of place, Or the clutch has gone.
Either way when driving about my left leg hurts a lot more than it used to so i think the pedal has got higher and...
