Would of probably been because of your De-cat I reckon for both the emission and coil light. Renault like to throw up more than one light sometimes even if it's for one fault.
For example Airbag and Serv, for an airbag fault.
Is it not possible the parts are slightly different and they just used the same picture?
I would of thought the exhaust diameter between a 205 and a 182 would be different, so the gasket thingy would be a different size.
personally I'd get a price of a genuine kit first either way.
When you...
I know that, I know he's really familiar with the omex ECU, that's why I mentioned that ECU, I meant more on pricing, so do they charge by the hour? Or per job etc.
So that £300 would include the use of the SRR I take it?
What about things like custom mapping, i.e a set of ITB's with an omex ECU on a 172 cup? Just an example ;)
Couple questions Ive been wondering, both for Danny@519 and S&MWM
What Rolling road do they use?
what ecu's do they work with?
What do they charge for a proper map, not just a flash map?
Anyone done this?
I haven't looked under the roof lining but if their was a connector under their for the sensor that sits by the interiour mirror... And then maybe a configure via clip... I'm just shooting in the dark here.
Might operate the auto wiper function as well.
Any help...
Thing is aswell, what do you replace it with? How do you know that won't need £600+ spending on it once you've got it?
Better the devil you know and all thet.
Depend what the cars like, if it wants for nothing apart from the belts and your happy with it for a couple more years then I'd get the belts done.
If it's a nail, then maybe it's worth punting it off, only you will know the anser.
Where are you buying your driveshafts from?
If genuine from Renault you should have 12 months parts warrenty so you should be getting them replaced for free.
If non genuine then they may be giving up early due to lack of quality and I'd be checking with the provider to see if they have any...
Could be lots of things, play in a ball joint, track rod end etc. first thing I would do is jack the car up and check the suspension for play or take it to a garage and get them to check it over for you.
Your really not going to gain anything taking it out, also when you have a blow out and the AA mans going to be two hours your thank your lucky stars you kept it.
I don't think the problem is going to be the bolts wearing out, they don't move when done up so I can't see how they could wear out.
Also If the lobe did wear out it would allow more camber wouldn't it?
