okay so I got my car back from the garage and its now a completely different car! Gaz you were right about the temp sender dying, it also had a faulty fuel pump which was why it was jerking when i tried to boot it, and the stupid owner before whacked the boost right up so was over boosting...

Is there any benefit of ditching the carbon canister?

You know how a turbo spools up right?... Using exhaust gasses to spin a turbine etc... How can the turbine spool if the engines off and there's no exhaust gasses? Unless its a ball bearing turbo that can spool for ages after engine turn off.

Yeah it's not great, there's 1 set of blue recaro's going at the moment, and loads of red ones. The Honda scene is massive out here so there's quite a few going off there. Can get then reasonably cheap considering they are actually recaro's lol

Hmm yeah I could go either way I just think blue would be more unique. I'll have to see what's available when I can actually afford them haha

Ok haha I'm just going on what someone's told me, apparently they don't like upped boost. I'm not overly bothered about having a high boost setting, I'm just happy I have any boost haha :P

Haha yeah you were pretty close! Also been looking at getting a set of blue recaro's from a Honda What do you think? I'm guessing I would need custom subframe/rails made up though!

Think I've found out what the switch is for! It's got a boost controller on it so I'm guessing its for when you want to switch to high boost. Although I've heard these engines aren't great when you up the boost and can easily go bang :/
