Yes you are correct, to fit a phase 2 exhaust to my phase 1 I had to fit the phase 1 cat with 2 sensors as its longer than the phase 1 one with one sensor, with hindsight I would have just made up a small connecting piece to fit the gap, cause its very fiddly connecting the cat to the exhaust...
Nothing cheap will make any difference, apart from that its just an engine and will respond to normal tuning techniques, and although you don't want to hear it a 172 would cost less.
Forgot I had moved the wheel barrow and while reversing into the garage and looking over my shoulder managed to scrape the door and wing with the handle of the barrow putting a massive scratch in them, god knows how much that's knocked of the value.
Attempting to change the cat on my phase 1, what a crap job, nearly impossible to get hand/spanner on the 10mm nuts, the way simple jobs become nightmares on this car will be the reason I sell it I think.
Could you send it to me as well please if I send you my e-mail, think my change time is approaching, cheers will send it anyway, ignore if I am assuming too much.
Would agree with that for a dedicated track car , but for road use should they not be split, right hand front/ left hand rear and vice versa although you would then need 2 adjustable bias valves.
