Yeah I get that with the clutch! But that's a good thing that it's clearly not as hardcore as the old one with what you said about the pedal! Good job done! As for the stickers, that could work! This is what I've done with mine, excuse the huge pic of the rear end but it's the only one I...
Good update Mark, you must be well chuffed to get the clutch in! You said it feels ok with the new one? That's a bummer about the new issue but hopefully not a tooooo bad fix! The 'confused' photo is good 😂
P.S. does look better with the sunstrip off, made the right choice but well...
I know exactly where your coming from, I was happy with the standard wheels on my Arctic 182......... but then Turini's happened. Refurbed in fresh silver. And new tyres. Oops! Looking for the next thing to do sums it up nicely 😂
If you get some 2118's or similar and keep the...
Just realised I've never posted in this thread. Fail! The car looks awesome, really does
I know your thinking of a wheel change and 2118's are indeed lovely, BUT...... the silver Turini's do look great on it already :up: It's a tough choice lol!
Just had a read through from start to finish and "wow " just about covers it haha, as already said in the thread the car genuinely looks like a different car now, great work........ I personally think the 182 rear end looks great on it but the silver Turnini's and coilovers have made the...
That is going to look soooo good!! I say it again
Makes sense to get quick progress photos now and again and then get proper hi-res fancy ones when finished and you get the car back, that is what I would want anyway!
Good stuff working through all the issues, must be a weight off the mind getting all that work sorted and done properly at engine dynamics  Good figure too! For mods, i'd go tyres, then suspension then exhaust IMO. I've got the black KTR kit on mine and it is VERY good however
Wowzers, that was a weekend and a half!! Respect for keeping stopping to take the progress pics Mark, most would be like 'i'm just getting this **** of a job done now!!' haha. Looks a right mission, but so worth it, looks awesome now... nice and fresh
That's exactly right, a late 4x4 Saph Cosworth has always been a dream car for me but i'm well and truly priced out of the market now, the RSOC estimate they are going up around £2000 a year which I believe, ok ones used to be about 4/5 grand as above, now they are like 10!!! Minters are crazy...
Haha brilliant!! Just keep it and say it's still advertised......... when it might not be
Worry about the 'have you not had in interest in the car for a while now?' question later!!
Great stuff, must be a bit weight off the mind knowing all that is done......... at the end of the day, as with most things, you get what you pay for! I'd be exactly the same as you with this, just pay the money to get it done right and have full confidence in the car there after. Pay a cheap...
Cheers mate, you won't be disappointed if you do it! Makes a great improvement
I need to get some more photos of it your quite right, when we get some better weather and roads hopefully soon I'll be doing a mini photoshoot with the car as the star  lol! Agreed with the wheel...
That's exactly it, we all get dirty hands cleaning/working on the cars and same when it goes to a garage......... this will be a lot easier to clean than the suede on the steering wheel!
Just a minor update, mainly to show this off incase anyone else wants one..... I've just got a TRS steering wheel cover purely for if/when the car has any work done at a garage etc to keep dirty hands off my brand new suede steering wheel, really nice quality and was only 12 quid off eBay! It's...
All depends what you get done and how long they have it bla bla, I had an enhancement detail done on my old red Civic Type-R that cost £180 but that was like half the work that's getting done here and got it back in a day! This is all paint correction etc etc
